Kmarts cute $10 animal wheat bags are a popular winter buy
Winter has well and truly kicked in – and we can feel it in our bones.
And with that being said, Kmart shoppers have recently discovered an “adorable” range of wheat bags to keep the kids warm.
In fact, mums have taken to a popular Facebook group gushing over the $10 Kmart item.
“The kids absolutely love them,” one woman wrote in Kmart Mums Australia.
“Those are so cute! Need one of these,” another added.
The ‘heat up wheat bags’ come in the shape of five different types of animals including koala, rabbit, fox and bear.

But it’s the sloth that has had the most rave reviews with customers giving it a 5-star rating.
“My little one loves it – he calls it his hot puppy dog. It helps make his cot warm at night and he sleeps better,” one woman wrote in the reviews section on the Kmart website.
“Perfect wheat bag and super cute and soft sloth covering,” another mum wrote.

All of the animal-shaped wheat bags are made with 100 per cent Australian wheat and are registered with the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration.
One mum said the bag doesn’t retain heat, with her son always stealing her hot water bottle, but others suggested doubling the recommended heating time of 20 seconds.
“Instructions say microwave for max 20 secs though which barely warms them so I do 40 secs. Wouldn’t be enough for an adult, but good for the kids,” one woman said.
The instructions warn never to heat the wheat-filled insert for more than one minute at a time and to flip it around at the halfway point.

“Yess! We got the koala one and although it’s mine, my son has claimed it as it goes with his Australian-themed bedroom!” another mum added.
