REVIEW: Adam Lambert at Terminal 5 in New York, NY

After two nights of seeing Adam Lambert on The Original High Tour in the East Coast of the United States in New Jersey (one being in Atlantic City and the other in New Brunswick) the third show at Terminal 5 (March 3rd) in New York was by far the best.

With the show being a general admission event unlike the other two attended with seats, his fans (Glamberts) waited hours ahead of time in the cold to secure a front spot at the venue, in order to catch a clear glimpse of the superstar.

Not only did Adam perform extremely well like at the other two shows I went to, but he also added songs to the setlist, making the show even more unique.  The original setlist for the other two shows featured the songs, “Evil In The Night,” “Ghost Town,” “Rumors,” “Whataya Want From Me,” “Lucy,” “After Hours,” “Mad World,” “Another Lonely Night,” “The Light,” “The Original High,” “Never Close Our Eyes,” “Let’s Dance” (David Bowie cover,) “Fever,” “These Boys,” “If I Had You,” and “Trespassing” mixed with Queen’s “Another One Bites the Dust.”

The setlist for New York’s show included additional songs, “Runnin’,” “Chokehold,” “Sleepwalker,” “Lay Me Down,” and “Shady,” resulting in an extended show.

Adam replied to a fan via Twitter recently saying, “I don’t like doing the exact same set every night. I like to change things up,” when being asked about bringing back some songs, which is most likely the reason for the change.

Throughout the show fans witnessed sensational lighting effects on the stage (some being red, pink, white, blue, and green) along with a back drop that featured operated pictures of Adam’s choosing, one being multicolored moving skulls, and multiple outfit changes.

Although Adam always does some dancing himself, making his shows just that much more entertaining, fans also got to see phenomenal choreography done by his tour dancers Holly Hayman and Terrance Spencer, who both had a solo at one point in the show.

Not only does Adam sing and perform remarkably, he has also takes the time to talk to the crowd, joking around, reminding fans to be themselves, and thanking fans for getting him where he is today.

I can highly guarantee that when you leave this show or any other Adam Lambert show for that matter, whether you’ve seen him live for the first time or not, you will leave the show completely wonderstruck.
